Harry, thanks so much for setting this all up. It's a great forum for discussing plans/details.
Here's my early take on my dad and his birthday: I just want to keep in mind that pops is happiest when he is planning an event. I'm not sure if we were hoping to do a big surprise for him or not, but I want to be sure that he has SOMETHING to plan so that he can be involved in the process.
Part of the fun is looking forward to the fun.
